What and why?: This step creates a connection between the exam and your course. If exam is not connected to course, it is not possible to prevent students from taking the exam before they have completed enough exercises on the course. It is also impossible for students to receive completions for the MOOC automatically based on the exam.

- Paste the url into the Course id field in the exam manage page. You will then see that your exam has been linked to the course (see image below).
Exam grading is either automatic or manually done by teacher. By default exam answer submissions are graded automatically - this works for multiple-choice exercises and others where students do not write longer answers themselves.
- All answer submissions are automatically graded. Students will receive an automatic completion for the MOOC course after the exam period is over if the following conditions are met:
-

In the exam you complete multiple choice questions similar to the ones answered during the course. Use the submit button to save your answer to each exercise question. You can use the 'End exam' button to finish your exam attempt. However, using the 'End exam' button is not required. It is enough to submit each answer before the exam attempt time ends. If you use the 'End exam' button, you cannot continue to answer exam questions even if you have time left. You are allowed to use the course material and other sources of information while answering the questions. Do not use LLMs (including tools like ChatGPT).
