Why do I get an unhandled Exception while processing persons

by Gerald Richter on 2016-08-29 10:56:29

last thing after some handled routing issues and  before the unhandled exception is

INFO Counter:67 [PersonPrepareForSim] handled person # 37

then

ERROR MatsimRuntimeModifications:54 Getting uncaught Exception in Thread main java.lang.RuntimeException: Exception while processing persons. Cannot guarantee that all persons have been fully processed.

what if I don't care for now?

Can I just tell MATSim to ignore this?

The network is an OSM export of Vienna, which is reduced to modes 'car, walk'.

And I dont see any quick way to even identify the problem that MATSim seems to have.

I'd appreciate suggestions on how to proceed.

thanks & regards

Ok, I see.  The critical sentence is "No route found from node 1403578925 to node 71561278."  You have disconnected network pieces.  (This might include nodes that can only be driven to but not driven from.)

See </ac:plain-text-link-body></ac:link>

I would indeed recommend to fix the network rather than switching off the matsim exception (we have a tendency to throw exceptions in cases where serious problems may otherwise go unnoticed; we consider this one a serious problem).

If this helps, could you please "accept" the answer?
