When creating rather few agents from some input to find appropriate routes
within an otherwise (currently) unloaded network,
- I ran MATSim / qsim for 2 iterations
- on usual urban capacities reduced to 5 %,
just to visualize the found routes.
I can see some agents in Via
which suddenly get very slow (and red/yellow) on some rather short links.
After having left those links, they continue with much higher speed, just as before.
- Does anybody know that effect?
- Is it that the flows are restricted by aggregating over a certain time window and thus the speed of a second vehicle within a short timespan has to be reduced due to capacity restrictions?
- is it some effect resulting from queues?
- did I mess something up with my coordinate systems and degrees are understood as meters?
thanks,
Gerald
