ride as congested teleported mode

Hi,

we want to run (in MATSim 0.8) the mode ride as a teleported mode for which the travel times are calculated with the car-router on the congested network, just as described in RunRideAsTeleportedCongestedModeExample.

Unfortunately the results in our simulation are not plausible, the number of ride-trips converges to 0.

We are not sure how to handle ride correctly, especally in the config. Is there a hello-world-example (including a config-, network- and population-file) which is compatible with the RunRideAsTeleportedCongestedModeExample or/and do you have any hints how to configure MATSim correctly?

With the specific code example that you mention, you also will have to configure something that makes people try out ride as mode (change trip mode), plus set scoring such that it is accepted.  

No, there is no out-of-the-box example, for the reasons mentioned under https://matsim.atlassian.net/browse/MATSIM-427.

The code example that you mention was just meant to show a way to re-construct what was in the code before refactoring.  Very sorry.
