- Other:
-
- Jennifer: virtual training/webinars? Something the Foundation can look at in the future to increase access. F4 workshop will be trying this- setting up adobe connect --> might be a model we can use for future camps
-
- Jennifer: Has the Foundation been approached for instances where the user needs to facilitate training volunteers and other trainers. E.g. dictionary to define terms. Something that can documentation can look at as well, especially in introductory section. E.g. list of terms and icons and where they are positioned.
-
- Community conversation: interest in how Islandora could facilitate repository of works of photographer, etc. One resource that was pointed towards was IIIF --> way of liking to images. There is a ticket to take out Jatoka and replace, possibility for 1.5. This is on the radar and JIRA tickets are in.
-
Fundraising for specific development goals (David)
-
- specific goals: Fedora4 Development
-
- institutions may be able to offer resources (financial or people)
-
- Discussion: approach similar to F4 if there are other funding targets--> see if this modle could be used in future fundraising opportunities
-
- link to who has signed up so far, what is included in next release: new release videojs (video and audio viewer)
-
- Mark: are we giving people sufficient notice that release is coming? Foundation noted that release come out twice a year (October and April). If you want contributions to make release need to start submitting.
-
- use JIRA more to an advantage going forward
-
- meet every other week/ off weeks from committers, committers calls would turn into dealing with tickets relating to release
-
- deployments: (https://github.com/ruebot/islandora_deployments): discussed at previous Roadmap meeting. Nick to transfer over to Foundation and send note to list saying it is there.
