Network Connection

Having a running connection with a server is required to both use ViaProMa collaboratively and to import task cards from GitHub and the RequirementsBazaar. The status of your current connection can be observed and changed in the Server Connection Menu which can be accessed in the Main Menu.

Server Connection Menu

This menu indicates the status of the connection with both the sharing server and the backend server with a correspondingly lit LED. While the sharing server should be connecting automatically, it is required to manually connect with a backend server. This can be done in the Connection Settings by typing in the web address. Building and running the backend locally also allows you to connect to the localhost. NetworkConnection
