This page is devoted to upcoming maintenance, version upgrades and cleanup activities (sometimes the results of incomplete Proposals).

• CITE Test Upgrade - fork cite engine now that it is in github and work on certification

• Migrate to OSGeo Infrastructure

• Java 11 - will require replacement of service provider registry (as used in GeoTools)

• REST API Refresh - migrate to spring mvc, focus of 2017 code sprint

GeoServer 2.9

• Spring 4 Upgrade - required for Java 8 compatibility
