Data Validation Volunteers

The Food Oasis application is only helpful to Food Seekers, if the listings we provide are complete, accurate, and updated regularly. This is a surprisingly difficult task, especially in the current environment where unprecedented number of people are food insecure, and food assistance organizations face increasing operational challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including outright closure, worker safety, and changes in both supply and demand for emergency food assistance.

Our success depends on volunteers who help maintain timely and accurate listings, and administrators who coordinate the assignment and review of organizations for initial entry and periodic review.
