2.2 Managing an org and its users

Super user - can do the following within ANY organisation

Asterix indicates that this activity may also be carried out by the org admin of a specific organisation

  • Can set up a new organisation
  • Can edit profile (*)
  • Can create an org admin and affiliate them to an organisation (there may be more than one org admin if duties are shared)
  • Can create an org user and affiliate them to an organisation
  • Can invite any user to join an organisation (*)
  • Can respond to requests to join the service
  • Can notify any user of their role within the organisation (*)
  • Can validate new users e.g. username/email (*)
  • Can make any organisation inactive (or delete?)
  • Can make any user inactive (or delete?) (*)
  • Can edit the profile of any user? (*)
  • Can determine whether organisations are visible to ALL users of the service, or just to its own users

Org admin - can do the following within THEIR OWN organisation

  • Can join an organisation
  • Can edit profile
  • Can create an org user
  • Can invite a user to join
  • Can notify a user of their role
  • Can make a user inactive (or delete?)
  • Can edit the profile of org users?

Org user - can do the following within THEIR OWN organisation

  • Can join an organisation
  • Can edit their profile
