[Major] 0.17.0: Support Comm Reworked, Firewalker, modeling
Version 0.17.0 Release
This major release sees over 100 commits merged into stable and partially addresses the commander rework.
Units:
- Added RTG, a medium power plant that's volatile and decays slowly. This is ment to help during energy stalls or as emergency power for defenses. Do not reclaim!
- Added Duster, a replacement for the Hacksaw. It comes with a laser guided SAM (model thanks to SharkGameDev!)
- Added Pestle, replacing Ettin. It's like a Cruicible, but weaker and can move.
- Added Firewall, replacing Firewalker. It creates a line (wall) of fire.
UI:
- Heatray now has new icon.
- Ogre is now called Cobbler
- Emissary is now called Polisher
- Raptor is now called Hades
Balance
Warden:
- DPS reduced to 102 (-3%)
- Shield regen: 14 -> 10
- Shield energy cost: 0.3 -> 0.2
Deserter:
- Damage: 180x2 -> 225x2
- Spread: +-5elmo/sec -> +-3 elmo/sec
Heretic:
- Max angle difference increased from 90 to 145 (Makes it able to fire more reliably)
Flare:
- Range: 350 -> 240
- Damage: 20 -> 15
- Cost: 70 -> 85
Detriment:
- Flak is now similar to Pestle/Cruicible.
Hades:
- ATA Missiles now can actually turn.
Cobbler:
- Fixed weapon def and improved its performance overall against ground units.
Support Commander:
- Added Resource Efficency Module, which adds +0.5m and +2e. Max of 4.
- Lost Shotgun.
- Can now dual wield basic weapons.
- Lost Missile Launcher.
- Added new weapon: Disruptor Projector, a small AOE slowing support weapon.
- Added new module: Heavy Beam Kit
- Added a super secret weapon none of you will ever find, probably.
Recon Commander:
- Can now dual wield.
Commander Weapons:
- Shock Rifle is now Sniper Rifle and is a basic weapon.
- Disintegrator reload: 30 -> 15.
- Now supports dynamically adding Fire At Radar.
- Heavy Particle Beam: Can now be gained from Heavy Beam Conversion Kits (Support Comm Only).
Code:
- Cluster ammunition spawner is now optimized a bit better.
- Cluster ammunition spawner can now spawn multiple types of projectiles. (Thanks, Stuff)
- Added nanite regeneration (not used yet) that increases regeneration as the user is damaged.
- Autollt is now soft-banned from future wars games
- Hacksaw AI is now soft-banned from future wars games (due to incompatibility and no longer being necessary).
- Capture gadget now supports commander weapons.
- Removed delay explosion gadget. It just created errors.
Sound:
- Mogul now has a new tracking sound meant to be more sinister
- Command Console Activated now has a new sound.
Models:
- Razor reworked. Thanks, SharkGameDev!
- Detriment Flak fixed.
Bug fixes:
- Divinity's engine trails were fixed.
- Deleted an old detri unitdef that was cluttering up infologs.
- Fixed "warning: turretaaflak.cob is not a valid file" error.

Fixes a crash.
[Major] 0.16.0: Cloakbots, Graphics, and More
0.16.0 marks our first steps as a project towards graphical improvements. Some units now have new visual effects. This update includes 3 new unit redesigns. The plan for 0.16 is to complete the gunship redesign and make tanks better.

Graphics:
- Added a new VFX to Scorcher. Now indicates damage increase with range.
- Added new lightning CEGs. These are primitive at the moment.
Units:
- Added Sparky (arty) and Snare (assault) to Cloakbot modded lineup. These are EMP orientated and have some AOE stun damage to them.
- Ambushers now have cloak cost equal to 10% of the movement cost (unless said cost is 1.0, in which case it costs 0).
- Krow has been added as the Purifier -- a laser shotgun unit with clusterbombs.
- Added the divinity, a cluster bomber to replace Raven.
Commanders:
- Heatray
- changed to look like sunbeam's weapon.
- Damage: 45 -> 70 (DPS: 450 -> 700 at PB)
Bug fixes:
- Fixed leveler corpse to have collision.
- Flare's CEG has been properly fixed.
- Lance is less prone to aiming loops.
- Ambusher cloak was fixed. (Previously some units couldn't have personal cloaking)
- Fixed thug's hit sound
- Factory descriptions now reference FW unit names.
[Hotfix] 0.15.18
This addresses some balance concerns and some bugs.
- Flare's AOE effect has been fixed (Hopefully)
- Rampart's LOS has been fixed, preventing radar overshoot.
- Mogul's damage is now properly displayed in context menu
