[Major] 0.16.0: Cloakbots, Graphics, and More
0.16.0 marks our first steps as a project towards graphical improvements. Some units now have new visual effects. This update includes 3 new unit redesigns. The plan for 0.16 is to complete the gunship redesign and make tanks better.
The Changelog:
Graphics:
- Added a new VFX to Scorcher. Now indicates damage increase with range.
- Added new lightning CEGs. These are primitive at the moment.
Units:
- Added Sparky (arty) and Snare (assault) to Cloakbot modded lineup. These are EMP orientated and have some AOE stun damage to them.
- Ambushers now have cloak cost equal to 10% of the movement cost (unless said cost is 1.0, in which case it costs 0).
- Krow has been added as the Purifier -- a laser shotgun unit with clusterbombs.
- Added the divinity, a cluster bomber to replace Raven.
Commanders:
- Heatray
- changed to look like sunbeam's weapon.
- Damage: 45 -> 70 (DPS: 450 -> 700 at PB)
Bug fixes:
- Fixed leveler corpse to have collision.
- Flare's CEG has been properly fixed.
- Lance is less prone to aiming loops.
- Ambusher cloak was fixed. (Previously some units couldn't have personal cloaking)
- Fixed thug's hit sound
- Factory descriptions now reference FW unit names.
