Can we skip directly to https://github.com/containerd/containerd/releases/tag/v1.7.22 ? There few important bug fixes.

I don't see anything fixed there that is a regression introduced in between 1.7.20 and 1.7.21?

Unless there is a critical new defect in 1.7.21, not present in 1.7.20, I'm not inclined to bump to 1.7.22 now. We are technically in code freeze at this point pending this month's patches from upstream, due Wednesday.

Indeed there are no new defect in 1.7.21, but in 1.7.22 there is this fix containerd/containerd#10675 which is bug without really workarround. I understand if you are in a code freeze that it will need to wait next release.
