What's the difference between "removing" an asset and "deleting" it?

When you upload an asset (e.g. an image), a copy of that file is uploaded and copied into your asset library. You don't have to use it anywhere, but the file exists on your server (inside the assets/lib/ directory). Once you add an asset to a product, it becomes associated with that product. If you "remove" the image, you just delete the association, but the image file is still on your server. If you "delete" the image, you delete the association and you delete the image file.
