This article explains how the Windows Phone Watchdog service works and how to prevent your game from being negatively impacted. Watchdog is a service on Windows Phone that monitors unresponsive applications. Unresponsive applications are put into the background and the user is taken back to the Home screen. The user may interpret this as a game crash. Following the best practices defined in this article will minimize this problem.
