How to setup a Dexcom data source

Steps

  1. Assuming you have the Dexcom app installed and are receiving blood sugars on the Dexcom app.
    • Navigate to the share triangle in the upper corner of the screen

  • Turn on sharing and add a follower. The follower can be yourself but you need to have at least one follower!!.

  1. Download Glance from the Fitbit app store (on your phone click to install Glance)

  1. After installing Glance, Navigate to Glance's settings

    • Fitbit app => click the watch in the upper corner => clock faces => tap the watch => tap settings button at the bottom

    • In Glance's settings select Dexcom as your data source then enter your Dexcom username and password

  2. If you did everything right you you should see your blood sugars on the watch.

Troubleshooting

  • If you just enabled Dexcom share in the Dexcom app it can take up to 2 hours for Glances initially to get the bloodsugars from dexcom.
  • Verify that you can login to your Dexcom account. Using the Dexcom website login https://store.dexcom.com/user/login
    • If you can not login, your password or username is wrong.
    • You can figure out your username by going into the Dexcom app => settings => account. At the bottom you'll see your email and username. you can use those to reset your Dexcom password here
