14 CANs
OPRE needs a way to “deep-dive” into individual CANs as well as view multiple CANs aggregated across OPRE. In OPS, there will be a page for every CAN (with multiple tabs for different information) and a list of all CANs (with various filters).
Every agreement has a lot of data associated with it; a description of if, different funding information tied to it, the budget lines using it, the funding, budget and more. All of this data is imported each fiscal year and updated as the CAN's budget and funding changes.
(needs to be adjusted) In the legacy system, it was difficult to follow edits on an agreement and there was little transparency into why something changed and who changed it. This caused stress and uncertainty and people often had to email around to find out why something changed or if the change was intentional. To address this challenge, OPS be designed to foster transparency, making agreements viewable by anyone, but only editable by team members, as well as tracking an agreement history with a log of what changed, when and by who.

18F created the initial research plan and designs/prototypes. From it, 18F developed various research summaries and take-aways that were a valuable starting point for us. We then brainstormed and ideated on how best CANs can be imported and updated year after year.
