Workflow of menus

When the player enters the game, the first thing they will see is an image of a ninja, the game title, the option to insert a coin, and finally Sega as the game developer company. The option to insert a coin and the game title appear flashing every so often.

If the user waits a little longer, the gameplay will appear as if someone were playing. Then another gameplay appears, where the game’s bonus stage is shown by throwing shurikens at enemies that appear from the sides.

After the main menu, a grey screen with the text "mission 1" and the mission title will appear, the same in all the levels.

Then, the map will be displayed showing which mission you are about to play, and the game will start that mission.

After defeating the final boss, the image of our protagonist will appear along with the end of the story explained in text and the game developers.

The game over screen consisted of our character lying on the ground and the game prompting several things: -Push 1P button to continue. -Push 2P button to game over. -Insert coin. And a timer that gives you 10 seconds to input a coin and continue playing.

Displayed at the top of the middle section are the game’s information and the player’s information. The first line shows the player’s score, the second line is where the player inputs their name, and the bottom section displays the remaining time for name entry. Located below the middle section is the keyboard, allowing players to choose different letters to form their names. The selected letter or symbol is displayed in the middle of the nine shurikens. On either side of the screen, there are three types of icons representing the player’s skills.

HUD analysis

Within the mission level, you can see the number of players, their respective lives, and the current score in the upper left corner. In the lower right corner, you can see the number of people left to rescue, and on the right side, you can see the time and the ultimate ability that is currently in use.

After rescuing all the people on the screen, the text "go to the next stage" will appear, indicating that you can proceed to the next level.
