New! Esri Geoportal Server is being evaluated in the EarthCube service broker hack-a-thon. For participation details, see the Brokering Hack-a-Thon 2 page. Also, see Geoportal Server as a Broker.
This wiki provides information about the Esri Geoportal Server, an open source product that enables discovery and use of geospatial resources including datasets, rasters, and Web services. It helps manage and publish metadata for geospatial resources to let users discover and connect to those resources. The Geoportal Server supports standards-based clearinghouse and metadata discovery applications. Unlike Geoportal Server's predecessor ArcGIS Server Geoportal extension, use of the Esri Geoportal Server does not require an ArcGIS Server license.
For more information visit the Geoportal Server project page. Also check out What's New with the latest version.
