UTS cluster Server portals: https://ihpc.research.uts.edu.au/pages/news https://clusterportal.feit.uts.edu.au/pages/home both work for all enrolled students.

As more crews and students in our team need to access to our servers when off campus, please follow the steps to finish settings for UTS VPN:

  1.   Access https://vpn.uts.edu.au/my.policy and login with your UTS ID

For windows and mac users, you need to (1) install F5 firewall first, then click

(2) na_vpn_staff to open F5 networks VPN ,

or manually startup F5 by (3),

(4) login VPN system with your account. (5) wait for F5 connection succeful.

Then we can access UTS intranet resource:

https://ihpc.research.uts.edu.au/pages/access_software

https://ihpc.research.uts.edu.au/pages/documentation_rhel75

  1.   Since port 22 is not available to access our server “eres-sm-pad1.itd.int.uts.edu.au” directly when you are off-campus, for now, I just walk around to access our server by using a server in ARClab:

  2.   https://ihpc.research.uts.edu.au/authentication/login

Then we use ssh command with your account and pswd on the server to access our server. the IP address of our server is : 10.64.129.18 or by the hostname: eres-sm-pad1.itd.int.uts.edu.au
