Measuring diverse indicators of Economic Complexity in Mexico at a state level, using the R package 'EconomicComplexity'.
The data source is the csv "vaprom_2019", obtained from the "Censo Económico 2019" https://www.inegi.org.mx/programas/ce/2019/. It shows the municipality organized by rows and the economic activities as columns. The cells show the added values of each activity at each location.
Using this data set, the code obtains; the Balassa Index, complexity index per location and per product, proximities within products and locations, complexity outlook index, and complexity outlook gain.
