When in Compare the old GUI and clicking on the tree left or right it will also select the node in the other tree with the same path (even when the tree is not completely the same):

In the new GUI it doesn't even work for the root node:

Maybe a call to the backend should be done to find a counterpart checkpoint. Please discuss with me when picking up this issue. Maybe the compare method should be stored in the report.
