The Adventure Cycling routes change from time to time, and they introduce new ones.
- The gpx files published by AC are on their routes page. On the right hand side each route has a page, and then on that page there is a gps link.
- There is a rough screencast demonstrating how to use ExpertGPS and Google Earth to process the routes and then combine them into a single kmz file at https://vimeo.com/31528076. Kevin wrote up the process here
- The piece-parts used to make the current kmz file are in the repository where they can be easily downloaded, and Kevin made a really nice introduction on that page explaining how it works.
- When everything is put back together and updated in this same directory structure you can either update it in git or just get it to Randy as a tarball or in dropbox or whatever.
- The original issue where Kevin did this work is at https://github.com/rfay/Warmshowers.org/issues/24. A recent issue is #78
- You can get the original files out of the repository, by downloading them one by one, by downloading the entire repo tarball.
