Introduction

  • The Utah Geological Survey uses a series of steps to process transducer data into usable water elevations.
  • This tool is meant to standardize the processing of these data.

Processing options

There are two processing options one can use:

  • Single-Well Process
    • process one transducer file
    • this is good for troubleshooting individual wells partially processing a file
    • barometric data that are measured over a similar time period are required.
  • Bulk Well Process
    • Process an entire folder with well files
    • Table of manual measurements is required for this
    • Bulk processing requires more setup and information, but can process many files quickly

Graphs and Tables

The graph and table capabilities seen in the right-hand side of this application are based on the pandastable library.

These features were designed for the impressive dataexplore application designed by Farrell. Instructions for use of some of the features and buttons can be found in the dataexplore help files.
