September 2023 CRAN update

We received notice from CRAN that unfortunately the package adephylo is soon to be removed from CRAN so we have - hopefully only temporarily - removed the dependency by disabling the 'Abouheif' and 'sumDD' methods of defining a tree as a vector.

Apr 2023 CRAN update

Fixing a bug which was affecting the compilation of vignettes: the treespace function can now handle NA row (tree) names. Also added explicit argument calls in unit test functions, updated the citation file to use bibentry rather than the old-style citEntry as suggested by CRAN, and updated links to authors’ websites.

Mar 2021 CRAN update

We fixed a bug which was tripping up our automatic tests: if d is a distance matrix obtained from stats::as.dist() then its i'th element can no longer be accessed with d[[i]] and instead d[i] should be used.

Nov 2020 CRAN update

We are very grateful to Joseph Tsui and Alexis Robert from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for spotting an error in the way tip labels were handled in calculating transmission tree distances - this has now been fixed and a test added.
