ChooseYourWeapon v0.2.0 "Dagger" has been released!.

Still using physical dice for your tabletop games? Pha! You plebians....

Why not use this crappy bash script I wrote that emulates D4, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 dice as well as coin flips. [ coin flips! ]

Each press of a number key, corresponding to the die (called a "weapon") to be rolled, automatically displays some ASCII art depicting said physical representations of your traditional troglodyte chance rocks that you insist on chucking around. the quality of each ASCII masterpiece ranges from bad to "meh".

All "weapons" use the $RANDOM function. [IN THE FUTURE], we will make use of the special file /dev/urandom found in *nix systems. This probably means it will no longer work on Windows systems, but it will also result in more statistically random rolls. And I don't really care if it doesn't work with Windows if I'm truly honest because what is that toxic uselessness doing on your computer anyway?

WAY [WAAAAYYY] IN THE FUTURE: Integration with XMPP and/or IRC so you can play tabletop games with your friends online.

Releases will all be named after common D&D weapons, most likely in alphabetical order, but also in order of implied awesomeness.

Level up, motherfuckers! Download it TODAY!
