Installation:

  1. If you don't have an AdGuard account, first create an account.
  2. After creating your account, login to your account.
  3. Enable Server settings > Manage block lists > TUR: Turkish Ad Hosts.
  4. Finally, follow the instructions below according to your device/software:
  • For your iOS device, select iOS from AdGuard DNS > Server settings > Connected Devices > Connect new device and enter anything on device name, move forward. Follow the steps here by selecting the "Use a configuration profile" option on the page that comes up.
  • For your Android device, select Android from AdGuard DNS > Server settings > Connected Devices > Connect new device and enter anything on device name, move forward. Select "Manually configure AdGuard DNS" on the next page and follow the steps here.
  • For Chrome-based browsers select Windows from AdGuard DNS > Server settings > Connected Devices > Connect new device and enter anything on device name, move forward. Copy the DNS address under the "DNS-over-HTTPS" option by selecting the "Don't use DNS server addresses" option on the page that comes up. Then open the chrome://settings/security page in the browser and activate the "Use secure DNS" option here and select the "custom" option below and paste the copied DNS address here.
  • For Android TV, Smart TV, Game Consoles, you need to create a new device and get a DNS address, and write it to the relevant place on your device.

Update:

  • It is enough to creating an AdGuard DNS account once, selecting Turkish Ad Hosts from the block list and setting up DNS specific to your device once. Updates will be reflected directly on your device.

Uninstall:

  • Remove the necessary configuration for your iOS device from "Settings > General > Profiles".
  • Set the DNS setting from "custom" to "auto" for your Android device.
  • For Chrome-based browsers, open the chrome://settings/security page from the browser and disable the "Use secure DNS" option there or select the other DNS options defined there instead of the "custom" option.
  • For Android TV, Smart TV, Game Consoles you need to delete the DNS addresses you have entered on your device.
  • If you want to continue using AdGuard DNS but only remove Turkish Ad Hosts, Server settings > Manage block lists > TUR: Turkish Ad Hosts option.
