À l’heure actuelle, le CIDOC CRM est développé et maintenu à jour exclusivement en anglais par le CRM SIG, un sous-groupe du Conseil international des musées (ICOM). Une initiative de traduction du CIDOC CRM a donc été mise en place par des intervenants du milieu patrimonial francophone canadien afin de rendre ce standard disponible sous licence ouverte et gratuitement, et ce avec l’aval du CRM SIG.
La documentation présentée ici est un travail actuellement en cours. À ce titre, bien qu’elle soit publiquement disponible, elle ne constitue en rien une publication officielle et des changements y sont apportés sur une base régulière. Par conséquent, il est préférable d’attendre une publication officielle de l’entièreté du contenu du CIDOC CRM avant d’implémenter cette traduction.
The CIDOC CRM is currently developed and maintained by the CRM SIG, a sub-group of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). A translation initiative has been put in place by francophone heritage practitioners in Canada so that this standard can be made available in French, openly and freely.
The documentation hereby accessible is a work in progress. As such, although it is publically released, it does not constitute an official publication and changes are made on an ongoing basis. Therefore, it is preferable to wait for an official publication of the entire content of CIDOC CRM before implementing this translation.
