Hello,
I'm Stéphane Graber, a software engineer based in Shefford, QC, Canada who's most known for work on projects like Incus, LXC, LXCFS, Distrobuilder as well as helping out with design, testing of new Linux kernel features, again primarily focused on containers.
I also help organize some yearly community events, most notably the containers micro-conference at the Linux Plumbers Conference as well as the containers and kernel devrooms at FOSDEM.
On top of that, I also help organize the yearly NorthSec conference and CTF in Montreal, acting as VP of infrastructure in that local non-profit.
And lastly, I have a tendency to just go and fix any annoying bug I see in day to day use, leading me to contribute to a very wide assortment of open source projects, from packaging issues in Ubuntu, to homebrew, to Home Assistant, ... Whenever possible, rather than just file a bug and hope for the best, I will just spend the time to learn enough about the project and go fix it myself!
Following my departure from Canonical in July 2023, I'm now self-employed, taking contracts for software development, consulting, training, ... but my involvement in the open source community isn't changing, so if I've helped you in some way over the years and you've wanted to get me a beer but we never crossed path, here is another way to show appreciation!
