Our mission is to create an independent browser engine that prioritises the user's interests above everything else!

Developing a browser from scratch is a long haul. Fortunately, we do have a usable proof-of-concept that works fine for simple websites. The path forward from here is (mostly) incremental improvements to reach parity with modern browsers, with the occasional architectural correction.

There are three main areas of improvement to be done:

• Add support for newer CSS standards
• Complete the support for DOM APIs
• Ensure the web's security model is honored

Your contributions will help sustain us for the long haul.

Our first funding goal is about 100 USD / month. This is not sufficient to sustain the principal developers, but it will be sufficient to start offering code bounties for the smaller tasks.

When we reach higher level of funding, we can consider hiring more committed developers. 🤞
