No hurry on this, at this point it works with both versions. However it is using some deprecated APIs that will be removed in v0.16.0. Sometime before that we should merge this to use the new APIs.
Also it would silence the deprecation warnings, which might be good UX. Maybe we can silence them another way in the mean time...
