Link Safer is a browser extension available for Edge and Chrome that provides a secure and convenient way to manage saved hyperlinks and notes. With this extension, users can perform various actions such as shortening links, opening hyperlinks, deleting saved items, and adding new links. It also includes a password generator feature and the ability to change the addon logo. On top off all that is it possible to save/delete/restore current tab sessions or save a URL in your list as bookmark.

If you prefer to install the extension manually, follow these steps:
Manual installation
- Download the extension package from the Releases page.
- Extract the package to a local directory.
- Open your browser's extension management page:

- Enable the developer mode (toggle switch or checkbox).
- Click on "Load unpacked" or "Load extension" button.
- Select the extracted directory of the extension.
- Adding Links: Users can add new links by entering the URL and clicking on the "Add" button. They can also directly add the currently active tab as a link by clicking on the "Add Current Tab" button. The added links are also saved as bookmarks.
- Link Shortening: Long links can be shortened for better readability. The extension automatically shortens lengthy links and displays them with an ellipsis (...).
- Opening Links: By clicking on a hyperlink, users can open the respective link in a new browser tab.
- Deleting Items: Saved items can be easily deleted by clicking on the "X" button next to each item.
- Clearing the List: The extension provides an option to clear the entire list of saved links and notes. This action removes all items from the list.
- Password Generator: Link Safer includes a password generator feature that allows users to generate strong and secure passwords. This feature helps users create unique and complex passwords for their online accounts.
- Saving and Restoring Tabs: The extension allows users to save the currently open tabs and later restore them. This feature is useful for quickly accessing a set of frequently used tabs or for resuming work from a previous session.
