Volume import/export + redesigned neuron import

  • Meshes can now be imported and exported from/to CATMAID (server needs to be 2016.04.18 or higher)
  • Redesigned neuron import now allows to search for neuron names, multiple at a time annotations and intersections
  • Interface will now issue a warning if your CATMAID server version is behind the last version known to work correctly with the Blender plugin

Import respects node radii + shade by strahler index

New features:

  • when is checked during import, the radius of each node is set according to its size in CATMAID
  • Color by strahler index will reload the neurons with each branch shaded by its strahler index. The smaller the index, the darker and more transparent the branch. The result will look best if viewport shading is set to or .

Unify Materials

Added option to unify materials: selected neurons are given a shared material. This should facilitate manipulation of materials for large groups of neurons.
