Full Changelog: v0.4.3...v0.4.4
Version 0.4.3
Some general fixes and updates (coming from the HASS PR).
Moved some functions to the backed lib (pywizlight) and fixes for some smaller issues.
Version 0.4.2 - fix for bulb FW 1.22.0
The FW update 1.22.0 for the bulbs (rollout starting at ~08.04.2021) breaking the automated kelvin detection.
In detail: The getUserConfig
was not providing extRange
property anymore.
I fixed this with a workaround - this can cause that the bulbs, with special kelvin ranges, are not correctly initiated.
I'm in contact with WiZ to find a solution for that change.
Small Fix - Light Effects and Version
Now the version number is part of the manifest file and a the issue with the bulb effects should be fixed.
Version 0.4.0
Fixing some backend lib issues.
Remove static bulb library and switch to an auto detection mode. This should fix compatibility problems and wrong kelvin ranges.
Version 0.3.1 - Fixed issue with timeout exception
The issue #98 should be fixed now.
Pywizlight version was bumped from 0.4.1 to 0.4.4.
NOTE: You have to reinstall the component and restart the HASS. In some cases you have to restart HASS twice (because of the package installation).
Version 0.3 - HASS Merge
This version represents the current pull from HASS core with some additional improvements.
- Working ConfigFlow: Now the bulbs can be configured via UI
- Devices Registration: The Bulb now shows up as "Light" device
- [BETA] The colors now "correct" regarding the HS to RGB-CW conversation in the WiZ app. Thanks to @brettonw for incredible work!(should be tested with non-RGB and non-Kelvin bulbs!! )
- Poll Service: Now it is possible to trigger a status update from the bulb via HASS service. This can be helpful for automation (e.g. motion detectors).
- DNS and IPs Support: The bulbs can now be added with an DNS name or ip.
- Bulb Library Moved: The "YAML" file was removed (because of a policy from HASS dev) and moved to the
pywizlight
repo.. - Tones of other fixes, improvement and removed typos π
Version 0.2
New Version:
- Fix for #62 because of missing dimming keyword in Pilot in case of proactive scenes are selected.
- Bump pywizlight version to 0.3.8 (introduced some additional changes)
