This directory is intentionally distributed separately from the unified tarball of the rest of GNU Radio in order to avoid problems for people who have begun to write blocks with a modified copy of gr-logitech_27mhz_transceiver-write-a-block. This project requires a functional GNU Radio installation including GRC and USRP support. == How To Install == To build the examples from the tarball use the normal recipe: $ ./configure $ make $ sudo make install If you're building from git, you'll need to use this sequence, since git doesn't contain configure or the generated Makefiles. $ ./bootstrap $ ./configure $ make $ sudo make install == How To Run == According to the installed GNU Radio version, the GRC projects need to be started by running grc grc/receiver_27mhz.grc grc/sender_27mhz.grc on GNU Radio 3.2.2 or gnuradio-companion grc/receiver_27mhz.grc grc/sender_27mhz.grc on GNU Radio 3.3.0 both times run from project root. When running the receiver, the VERBOSE mode can be enabled/disabled in the block "Logitech 27MHz Packet Decoder" which outputs all information gathered from the received signal and outputs it to the console like _______________ DATA FRAME KEYBOARD ID: 0x74a KEY PRESSED: 0111001 KEY WAS PRESSED FOUND KEY PRESSED: c _______________ or _______________ SECURED CONNECTION KEYBOARD ID: 0xff1 1 0 1 1 1 1 1 1 0 0 0 1 0 1 1 0 _______________ Independent from the console output, the received keystrokes are written to the file /tmp/rec_27mhz_keys.txt. This file can be readout cyclic for example with the command tail -f -s 0.1 /tmp/rec_27mhz_keys.txt in a Linux shell.
