Cacheable

Simple method caching.

Usage

class Faker
  include Cacheable::Method

  caches :awesomeness

  def cache_key
    'faker/1'
  end

  def awesomeness things
    "#{thing} are so awesome"
  end

end

Cacheable.cache_store = Memcached.new(['127.0.0.1:11211', '127.0.0.1:11211'])
Cacheable.adapter     = Cacheable::MemcachedAdapter
Cacheable.cache_store.flush

@faker = Faker.new

# retrieve result and set into the cache
@faker.cached_awesomeness('kittens')
=> 'kittens are so awesome'

# force flush and retrieve result and set into the cache
@faker.cached_awesomeness!('unicorns')
=> 'unicorns are so awesome'
