This is a major release. It includes, among other stuff:

  • A new HTML5 UI.
  • Internationalization (English and French for now, other languages can be added).
  • Ability to connect to multiple servers.
  • A friendly systray menu to monitor synchronization.
  • Conflict management.
  • Metadata edition from the file system.
  • Ability to generate a report in case of problem.

A lot of technical improvements and optimizations have been made, mainly regarding the local changes detection (no more CPU overload) and upload / download parallelization to avoid blocking the main thread.

If you have a Nuxeo Drive instance running against a LTS or a Fast Track version of Nuxeo, a notification about this new version should be displayed in the systray menu within an hour allowing you to upgrade (can bypass this delay by restarting Drive).
