@madskristensen I wasn't able to find any way to do this. I'm assuming it's not a supported feature so maybe nothing to do on this issue?

The Visual Studio 2022 version of the extension already prevents publishing due to the inclusion of this line:

vs-extension-testing/src/Microsoft.VisualStudio.IntegrationTestService.Dev17/source.extension.vsixmanifest
