Complete version 2.1
Complete version of experiment
This is the first complete version of Kelly's experiment.
Some important notes on the few things that need to be changed:
- uses the video (with lips moving) on every single trial. This needs to be changed to a mask for Audio and Environmental phases.
- does not mix audio well, need to add this to next version. (gain manipulation is unreliable)
Initial coding of experiment
This is the first version programmed for Kelly. It only uses a few sample sounds (action, bead, and coffee) to attempt to get at what she wants.
Some important notes:
- no baseline staircase
- no adaptive staircase for main experiment
- sound module is not optimized for altering loudness or gain (shouldn't use this experimentally)
- block order is randomized, but does all of one type (e.g. all visual, then all auditory)
- no fade-in of visual stimulus
- cannot counterbalance easy and hard stimuli (randomly decides if a stimuli will be hard or easy)
