How to customize labels?

Note: this sections is a bit poor in QGIS manual. Please tell if you have time or ressources to fill it up!

Toolbar button description:

Open labeling properties button image : Open Labeling properties for current layer

Show pinned labels button : Show pinned labels with a green box.

Pin Label Tool : Pin Label button. Use it to fix (clic), unfix (shift + clic) or toggle pin state (ctrl+clic)

Show/Hide Label tool : SHow/Hide Label button. Draw a rectangle to show (clic) or hide (shift+ clic) labels in the rectangle

: Move label tool. Just clic and drag your label to a new location.

: Rotate label tool

: Change Label Properties tool. Shows following dialog for clicked label:
