It is a cool and simple webshop made with Technologies.
I was mostly focusing on django parts as I was learning it while doing the project. I could make it much prettier, but I didn't want to waste time on it. Also, I didn't want to make it too big because adding new features is pretty easy, and I don't see much sense in actually adding it.

- Clone repository -
git clone https://github.com/makubas/webshop-django
- Enter project directory -
cd webshop-django
- In
webshop/settings.py
changeDATABASES { 'default': { 'USER' and 'PASSWORD' } }
to your MySql root user and password, defaults areUSER: root
andPASSWORD: root
- Create new MySql database -
CREATE DATABASE webshopdb;
in your mysql command line client - Create virtual environment in project directory (with manage.py) -
pipenv install -r requirements.txt
- Run it -
pipenv shell
- Create databases for the project -
py manage.py migrate
andpy manage.py makemigrations
- Run server -
python manage.py runserver
py manage.py createuser <amount>
-> Create user(s), it'll return each user email and password.py manage.py createproduct <amount>
-> This will create user (seller) of the product(s), and then create given amount of random items.

If you made everything correctly you should see the message that the server is running, and you can connect on http://127.0.0.1:8000
