Additions:

  • Added missing fireball knockback sfx
  • Added interlacing for most enemies / entities for high refresh rate monitors
  • Added UI accent color matching for the item box

Adjustments:

  • Greatly improved backend networking, reducing traffic used by ~66%
  • Ice Flower projectile speed is now based on the Player's speed when shot.
  • Flying / Propeller Mushroom now decelerate when not holding left/right
  • Slightly increased Player acceleration with a Starman

Fixes:

  • Fixed Small Players not having an outline glow
  • Fixed Small Player fireball knockback being slightly longer than normal
  • Fixed Starman Players that bump Mega Players dropping stars
  • Fixed Mega Players not properly destroying blocks that respawn inside them
  • Fixed Mini Players dying when being bounced on when not groundpounded
  • Fixed Mini Players being unable to run up / slide down slopes
  • Fixed Mini Players missing their unique falling animation
  • Fixed Mini Players being able to enter the pipes in Volcano through the roof
  • Fixed Mini Players going through pipes being placed slightly above the pipe
  • Fixed Big Stars bouncing off of semisolids while still moving upwards
  • Fixed Shell Players clipping and being pushed out of blocks when uncrouching in the air
  • Fixed coins dropped by enemies not being collectable when bumping them through blocks
  • Fixed Spinys instantly dying when respawning
  • Fixed snow tiles having the wrong footstep sfx
  • Fixed half-solid tiles (mini areas) being considered non-solid for pushing players
  • Fixed fireballs being clipped into some block types
  • Fixed Players breaking out of ice always being knockbacked to the right
  • Fixed not being able to groundpound when inside a semisolid platform
  • Fixed being able to bump Players from below with blocks while they're already dead
  • Fixed being able to groundpound immediately out of a jump while continuously holding down
  • Fixed block bump particle/sfx playing when hitting Players already in knockback
  • Fixed background pixel scroll artifacting in NDS Resolution mode
  • Hopefully fixed all instances of background tearing
  • Fixed Big Stars not properly bouncing on semisolids
  • Fixed Koopas & Players frozen in ice being thrown at high speeds
  • Fixed moving Shells playng their bounce sfx multiple times
  • Fixed bugs relating to WIP maps
  • Fixed sounds not playing properly when joining as spectator
  • Fixed in-game UI being broken on Linux builds
  • Fixed Fortress ceiling & Bricks platforms desync
