Dynamic Mode Decomposition

A Python implementation of the standard and high-order dynamic mode decomposition, DMD[1-3] and HODMD[4]. The most time consuming part, the singular value decomposition (SVD) is performed using numpy. Loops over the space are vectorized.

Installation

  1. [Recommended] Create a Python environment, e.g. Conda environment:
conda create -n dmd pip numpy scipy
conda activate dmd
  1. Clone the GitHub repository:
git clone [email protected]:imaliyov/dmd.git
  1. Navigate to the dmd folder and install the package:
cd dmd
pip install .

Examples

Navigate to the examples folder and run one of the example files:

cd examples
./example<...>.py
