This was our initial PR. It has a "fake datasource layer" so we could have the repository layer to showcase. We decided to simplify the project to not include this layer, and cover it in a separate project to simplify learning MVVM fundamentals.
Feel free to look through the files if you are curious how it would work with a repository layer
