KoMedia is a DSL wrapper for the standard Android media tools.
The library uses experimental Kotlin channels and is based on three Android components:
- MediaExtractor,
- MediaCodec,
- MediaMuxer
Download via Gradle:
add to the root build.gradle
allprojects {
repositories {
maven { url 'http://dl.bintray.com/featzima/komedia' }
}
}
add to the module build.gradle
implementation 'com.featzima:komedia:0.1.2'
- You can easily convert MP3 file to AAC file. Just create a pipeline with simple DSL and invoke it:
val sampleFile = File(appContext.cacheDir, "input.mp3")
val resultFile = File(appContext.cacheDir, "output.aac")
val converterPipeline = pipeline {
extract {
dataSource { path = sampleFile.absolutePath }
}
decode {}
encode {
mediaFormat {
property { MediaFormat.KEY_BIT_RATE to 128000 }
property { MediaFormat.KEY_MIME to MediaFormat.MIMETYPE_AUDIO_AAC }
property { MediaFormat.KEY_AAC_PROFILE to MediaCodecInfo.CodecProfileLevel.AACObjectLC }
}
}
mux {
outputFile = resultFile
}
}
converterPipeline.invoke()
