Webcosting

Description

Webcosting is in interactive website that helps the user to estimate the development time of a software project, using two methods:

  • cocomo
  • function point

Getting started

Local deploy

Requirements: python 2.7 , venv and pip must be installed on your computer

Clone the repository

Use pip to install all the dependencies required, using the following command:

pip install -r /path/to/requirements.txt

Use the console to cd to the webcosting folder and run the following command:

python manage.py runserver

In your browser, go to http://localhost:8000/webcosting/

The website is built using the python 2.7. It uses the following libraries and frameworks:

  • Django==1.9.6
  • django-crispy-forms==1.6.0
  • django-debug-toolbar==1.4
  • django-extra-views==0.7.1
  • six==1.10.0
  • South==1.0.2
  • sqlparse==0.1.19
