Статус-страница проекта Rusdracor: Fathers, Mothers, children

Done

  • We labeled 23 dramas and keep doing it.
  • We keep on doing a spreadSheet. Here we write out relation labels, done explicitly, and mark labels, which is clear (or checked) out of context.

Questions:

  • When I was labeling the drama "Бригадир", I noticed that Castlist and listPerson are not equal. And one of the character has the id "Syn" (son) instead of Ivanushka. It is not a problem for labeling relashions, but it seems that the castlist is not perfectly full or reliable (Danya explained me that there are persons who are not mentioned in a castlist, and conversaly). So, should we rely on a castlist?

  • The tag <associated_with> seems to be not clear at all. We tag with it all subordinated persons. In Russian drama they are servants (слуги), favourites (наперсники, наперсницы), nurses (няньки, мамки), viziers (визири), aldermen (вельможи) etc. So, very-very varied relations, on my point of view. I would suggest to split they into two groups: servants and nursers (those who have a lower status) with a tag (let's say) <servant_of> and <subordinate_to> for others. Anyway, the tag <associated_with> is not understandable, but could be...

  • There are relations that are clear, but they are not written explicitly. For example:

Бригадир.

Иванушка, сын его.

Бригадирша.

Here we see that Brigadir is a parent of Ivanushka. But we all understand, that Brigadirsha is a wife of Brigadir and it's quite clear, that Brigadirsha is also a parent of Ivanushka. I suggest to use a special tag for such cases. What do you think?

  • The tag <lover_of> should't be directed. The tag is about mutual relation between two persons. Sometimes a fiance is also called "lover of". Even if it is written "ее/его любовник", it doesn't differ from friens, which are also written often like "друг его".

  • We fixed up our project in a rusdracor's fork on GitHub. Could you check, if it's all right and you can see all commits and files?

  • Is it right that we always tag a parent like active and a child like passive? Is it applicable as well for the connection like master-active and servant-passive or uncle-active and cousin-passive? Or we should rely only on the grammatical part (like there Андрей, слуга г. Здравомыслова): Nom means active, Gen means passive? I'm confused a little.
