Agordamon is a configuration module for monitoring solutions like Nagios and Icinga written in Perl.

It provides you with an easy to use functionality to create your configuration by script and offers the 
possibility to do this automatically by evaluating your cmdb for example.

Agordamon can be used as a "one-shot" mechanism and writes your objects directly to your filesystem or 
it can store the objects in a database.
Saving it to a database provides you with the functionality to edit the objects by webpage or commandline 
client.

At the moment agordamon supports MongoDB as database backend, further backends are planned.
