Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/meta.yaml) and found it was in an excellent condition.

I do have some suggestions for making it better though...

For recipe/meta.yaml:

  • No valid build backend found for Python recipe for package cytoolz using pip. Python recipes using pip need to explicitly specify a build backend in the host section. If your recipe has built with only pip in the host section in the past, you likely should add setuptools to the host section of your recipe.

I pulled in a patch for the failing tests from pytoolz/cytoolz#205. As explained in pytoolz/cytoolz#206, the failures are due to newer Python versions (not just 3.13) addressing a limitation in inspect.signature, which changed the test results. Not sure how we feel about bringing in a PR, but the repo does seem a little unresponsive and this will hold up the 3.13 migration for dask.

Ok, switched to pytoolz/cytoolz#206 since that fixes some issues unique to Python 3.13. Same caveats about being PR only still apply.

Rebased on top of the 1.0 release, which eliminated the need for the patch.
