Planned release on January 2015
- The Network Diagram was revised:
- The Network Diagram interface with Microsolf Visio was revised for easier use. The need for the plugin was eliminated. Diagrams created or modified is Visio now export more smoothly into CSET. Visio 2013 is now supported, but support for Visio 2007 and 2010 was dropped.
- A new multi-service component icon was created to represent a single physical component with several services. This is more representative of real-world cybersecurity equipment.
- Functionality was added to allow the import of diagrams created by Grass Marlin which is a passive network traffic capture software product.
- Changes were made to the Information screen to allow input of the Real Property and Site Unique Identification (RDSUID) information. The identification system is being employed by the Department of Defense (DoD).
- The ability to export an assessment file into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) format was added. eMASS is DoD's recommended tool for information system certification and accreditation. *A new Security Assurance Level (SAL) determination wizard was added based on the requirements of the Committee on the National Security Systems (CNSS).

- North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), revision 5.
- Having a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or less on Windows-based systems can cause CSET display problems.
- Correct the issue by using a higher screen resolution setting.
