V-Pipe currently has a start-to-finish test, yet no testing has been implemented for the individual rules of the pipeline.

For the major remodel, upcoming unit tests are essential.

The milestone is to have a simple workflow for which we can automatically / semi-automatically generate unit tests using the snakemake feature: snakemake --generate-unit-tests
